Join Riffle Advisory: Meaningful Work in Healthcare Resilience

Riffle is hiring two contract professionals to join our growing healthcare resilience team.
Over the coming months, we are preparing to launch new business continuity and downtime planning engagements with several of the nation’s leading academic health systems. We are also supporting multiple major healthcare organizations as they strengthen technological resilience, prepare for extended system outages, and protect critical clinical and operational workflows.
This is work with real consequences.
The FBI’s 2025 Internet Crime Report identified healthcare and public health as the critical infrastructure sector reporting the most ransomware incidents. A recent peer-reviewed study also found that in-hospital mortality increased by 34–38% among patients already admitted when a ransomware attack began.
When hospital technology becomes unavailable, the impact extends far beyond IT. Patient care slows. Clinical risk increases. Revenue and administrative processes break down. The work we do helps healthcare organizations maintain essential operations, protect patients, and recover more effectively when disruption occurs.

Both positions are contract roles with the potential to convert to full-time employment following the contract period, based on performance, organizational needs, and mutual fit.

1.) Senior Healthcare Resilience Consultant
The Senior Consultant will lead client engagements, facilitate sessions with healthcare executives and operational leaders, own final deliverables, and support junior team members.
We are seeking someone with meaningful experience in both healthcare and consulting, ideally with additional expertise in areas such as business continuity, emergency management, hospital downtime planning, clinical operations, revenue cycle, cybersecurity resilience, communications, project management, or workflow mapping.

2.) Healthcare Consulting Analyst
The Analyst will support project coordination, research, workflow analysis, meeting preparation, client data organization, and the development of reports, presentations, plans, and other deliverables.
This role is intended for an early-career professional with one to three years of experience who is highly organized, analytical, dependable, and interested in building a career in healthcare consulting and resilience.
