Riffle Secures Investment from Atlassian Ventures to Advance Operational Resilience

Dallas, Texas — March 26, 2026 — Riffle Resilience, an AI company with deep domain experience, focused on modernizing operational resilience, today announced it has received an investment from Atlassian Ventures. The investment will support Riffle’s continued development of solutions that harness AI and embed resilience directly into the systems organizations use to manage day-to-day work.

As organizations become more interconnected, disruptions are increasingly complex, extended, and cross-functional. Traditional approaches to resilience—often centered on static plans and documentation—are being challenged by the need for real-time coordination across teams and systems.

Riffle is building a different approach.

Riffle’s platform is designed to integrate resilience into operational workflows by improving visibility into dependencies, aligning teams around real-time work, and enabling organizations to manage disruption within the tools they already rely on.

“When disruption happens, teams don’t step into a separate environment—they work within the systems they already use,” said Shane Mathew, Founder of Riffle. “Our focus is on making resilience part of how work actually runs, not something that sits alongside it.”

Riffle is building within the Atlassian ecosystem, where platforms like Jira serve as operational systems of record for many organizations. Its approach focuses on improving visibility into dependencies, coordinating work across teams, and supporting disruption response within existing operational tools.

“Riffle is addressing a fundamental challenge in modern organizations—how to operationalize resilience within the systems teams use every day,” said Georgia Zhang, Head of Atlassian Ventures. “Their approach aligns closely with how we see the future of work evolving inside the Atlassian ecosystem.”

The investment reflects Atlassian Ventures’ broader focus on supporting companies that extend the capabilities of the Atlassian platform, leverage AI, and help teams operate more effectively.

Chris Hemphill, Head of Marketplace Partnerships at Atlassian, noted the growing opportunity within the ecosystem:

“We’re seeing a new generation of Marketplace applications that are more robust and deeply integrated into how teams operate day to day. With advancements in Forge and the increasing role of AI across the Atlassian platform, partners have an opportunity to build solutions that are core to how work gets done.”

Riffle is currently working with design partners across healthcare, manufacturing, and other complex operational environments. The company is also expanding its advisory services through Riffle Advisory, which supports organizations in areas such as long-term outage preparedness and operational continuity.

The company plans to continue developing its platform within the Atlassian ecosystem and will be participating in Atlassian Team ’26.
